Thanks to the diligent planning of the promotions team at Summit Media Hawai’i, this year’s AAF Ad Month Event was a resounding success! Several professionals in related fields including marketing, advertising, digital media and more joined us for a tour of our recording studios followed by a pau hana at Gordon Biersch. Between bites of ahi nachos and Märzen-simmered bratwurst sliders the team led our guests through a round of “Pick your Promo,” a game designed to test their promotional skills! Each team randomly chose a radio station, event reason, and fictional clients (found in our favorite movies and TV shows). The teams had a nerve-wracking 5 minutes to prepare a promotional pitch which was to be judged by our very own president, Andrew Rosen. To our delight, our guests astounded us with their creativity and professionalism, making a winner difficult to select! After much deliberation, a winner was at-last crowned and the group returned to their pupus and the ease of casual conversation.
