Robert was an incredible joy to have in studio for Hawaiian 105 KINE Aloha Friday Live. We took calls from right arought the corner, right around the Pacific (Mahalo Federal Way) and took a trip to the Windy City with calls from Chicago! Mahalo for all the Facebook shoutouts and comments!
Things we learned from Robert today:
Robert is headed up to Merrie Monarch Wednesday; he will perform music for 3 halau to dance to; come home Thursday, work Friday, then fly back to MM on Saturday;
This will be the last time he will play music for halau for the next several years at Merrie Monarch;
Robert will head up to Hilo next year for Merrie Monarchʻs 50th Anniversary to perform Exhibition night;
Robert does not want to be a judge at Merrie Monarch; he admits the job the judges have is tremendous, and he likes being able to sit and enjoy; which you canʻt do whan youʻre judging
There is another solo CD in the works; he REALLY enjoyed this experience and likened it to the release of the Sunday Manoa release in 1969.
Congratulations on all that Robert Cazimero continues to do in the many different venues of entertainment, in both music, hula and our Hawaiian culture.
